# AgentBank

> Banking for AI agents. An agent connected to AgentBank can collect money, hold it, convert it, and send it to bank accounts in local currency, within the spending limits and approvals set by its human owner.

AgentBank is used through the Model Context Protocol (MCP). The MCP server is the authority for onboarding, quotes, payments, recipients, tracking and recovery. Do not construct AgentBank protocol requests by hand.

- Remote MCP (ChatGPT, Claude, Meta Muse, Poke, Cursor, Grok, Gemini CLI, or any host that can call an HTTPS MCP server): endpoint https://plugin.agentbank.world/mcp. Auth is OAuth 2.1 authorization code with PKCE (S256), public client, dynamic client registration supported. Connection guide: https://plugin.agentbank.world/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource. Authorization server metadata: https://protocol.agentbank.world/.well-known/oauth-authorization-server. An unauthenticated POST to the endpoint returns 401 with the same guide in the body.

## Accounts

- A human owns the account and decides what the agent may do. Account owners sign in at https://app.agentbank.world (browser only).
- Agents do not create accounts on their own. Onboarding returns a browser authorization URL for the human to approve.
